Essex Youth Jazz Orchestra

Our award winning youth jazz orchestra (EYJO) is led by our resident conductor and jazz specialist, Martin Hathaway, Professor of Jazz at Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

This group allows advanced musicians to develop jazz knowledge and improvisation skills by playing a wide range of genres from big band standards to contemporary styles and modern composers and perform at many different venues across Essex including churches, studio theatres and jazz clubs – please email or phone us to find out more.
